Brain Freeze at the San Francisco Creamery Co.

Why eat dinner when you can go straight to dessert?

After a day of shopping with my cousins (and totally blowing my budget on Kate Spade accessories!), it made perfect sense to head to Walnut Creek and binge on old fashioned sundaes at the San Francisco Creamery Co.

I went all out and got the Warm & Toasty Brownie Sundae:

For those of you looking for a little bit of warmth in your sundae, we pile mounds of Vanilla ice cream over a warm and moist brownie. Then we blanket it underneath a delicious layer of hot fudge sauce and complete it with whipped cream, chopped toasted almonds and a cherry.

It weighed as much as my cousin's two year old son. And I'm not ashamed to say I ate all of it.

The San Francisco Creamery is also a Man v. Food spot. They have a dessert called "The Kitchen Sink," which is three sliced bananas, eight HUGE scoops of ice cream, eight servings of toppings, and a mountain of whipped cream and crushed nuts and cherries on top. It's great to share, but if you can eat the entire Kitchen Sink on your own -- just like Adam Richman did -- you can get your photo on their wall of fame.

There was no way I was going to order The Kitchen Sink, but I really wanted to see one in real life. And lucky for me, a tableful of folks came in and ordered one! And in one of those small world twists, they were my cousins' good friends. So it made it less awkward when I stood around watching the Creamery guys make their dessert and hovered over their table as they started working together to eat The Kitchen Sink. :)
