Had a lovely dinner date with my amazing friend at Chez Liberty in Knoxville. The dinner started off with a splash of Shafer One Point Five Cabernet Sauvignon — which I could smell as soon as the glass arrived at the table (mmm) — and a tremendous chef’s choice cheese plate with five kinds of cheeses: Applewood Smoked Cheddar, Lamb Chopper, Abbaye St. Mere, MT TAM, and Humboldt Fog. Our entrées were the Alaskan halibut and Maple Leaf Farms duck breast, which we washed down with a couple of cocktails. Talk about dee-lish! Looking forward to another awesome dining experience at Chez Liberty in the near future.
